Agada Tantra the Branch of Ayurveda that deals with treatments and prevention of toxins in the body, Which further elaborates the methods and tests to diagnose the bites and stings of various poisonous insects, snake, spiders, rats etc. In Agad Tantra subject students will get knowledge of different poisons, its action, clinical manifestation diagnosis of acute, chronic and cumulative toxicity and treatment.

Agadtantra is one of the eight branches of Ayurveda and this subject included in 3^rd year BAMS syllabus. In this students will taught the properties, effects and management of poison of animate & inanimate origin different agadas i.e. vishavirodhi dravya or vishavirodhikalpa which are used since human history itself.
