It was an ever felt need to have a Institution in the remote, rural, tribal place like Chalisgaon, Dist-Jalgaon, Maharashtra where nobody can dream of to open such Institution. But such dreams also became true as there is an old saying ” Where there is a will, there is a way ” and the foresightedness and the endless efforts of Dr. Uttamrao D. Mahajan, Founder of the Trust proved it true and KDMG’s Ayurved Medical College & Hospital came into existence in 1998.

The Institute is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, (N.C.I.S.M.) New Delhi, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (M.U.H.S.), Maharashtra. Ayurved Medical College & Hospital completed a milestone of 24 years since establishment. College has 100  bedded well equipped hospital with highly qualified medical staff, paramedical & Nursing staff. Various Panchakarma procedures sucg snehan, swedan Vaman, Virechan,  Basti etc are available. Various Surgeries Ksharsutra procedures etc are performed in Hospital. Blood Investigations, ECG, Xray and other facilities are available in Hospital. Yoga theraphy, Physiotherapy units are present. Immunization program under Balrog department  and Various surgeries are carried out under Prasutitantra departments.

College UG intake is of 50 students. College building accommodates well-equipped Administration wings, Digital Classrooms,  laboratories, dissection hall, library with internet facility, Seminar Hall and Playgrounds.  The College conserves an herbal garden having more than 250 medicinal plants species and Teaching Pharmacy to manufacture variety of classical Ayurvedic preparations. College library is well furnished with spacious seating arrangements. More than 10 thousands of books are available in library. For students different subscribed  journals and newspaper corner are available for reading.
