Rachana Sharir
Rachana Sharir :
This is one of the basic subjects of Ayurveda which is taught in the first year BAMS program which includes both Ayurvedic and modern anatomy. Being the foundation subject, all the basic principles of Sharir (body) are incorporated within Rachana-Sharir. Knowledge and skills in the field of Rachana Sharira will enable Ayurveda graduates to practice the medicine successfully. The department is well-equipped with smart cadaveric dissection hall, with facilities for cadaver preservation, museum for focused learning of Anatomy and an exclusive departmental library
Cadaver Oath is taken in our Institute. A Cadaveric Oath is a pledge that a medical student takes before touching the cadaver in the dissection hall; the oath emphases on proper handling with the cadaver, paying tribute to the soul and to knot the idea of empathy in the young medicos minds.
Cadaveric Oath :
- I do solemnly pledge that, I will always treat you with respect & dignity of highest order, as you are my first Anatomy Teacher.
- I will always respect your privacy and confidentiality. I will use this knowledge for the service of the society.
- In all my deeds from now onwards, I will do justice to your great sacrifice.
- My hearts feels with gratitude, as I realize your kind and courageous act of donating your body for the purpose of our learning.
- I will be grateful to you and your family for this act of “Living After Death”.
- I will ensure that your soul will remain in absolute peace during my journey of medical education and its application which I would achieve through you.
Let there be peace, peace and peace……
